Kinloch West Water Main Upgrade
Replacing & Upgrading Kinloch West Watermains
This project was done through Taupō District Council construction panel works.
Nolan Drainage were contracted to replace and upgrade the watermains on Kinloch Road, Nisbet Terrace and Mata Place. This work consisted of installing 813 metres of DN180 PE100 PN12.5 watermain, 391 metres of DN125 PE100 PN12.5 watermain, and 427 metres of DN63 PE80 PN12.5 Ridermain. As a large project, this took approximately 3 months to complete.
As part of the project we also needed to install various valves and fittings. This included multiple house connection replacements.
It was a complex job that required our water technicians’ expertise and excellent project management. We are proud to be on the preferred contractors panel for Taupō District Council, so we stay involved with important water upgrades and repairs for our community.
